The Sister Bay and Liberty Grove Fire Department offers a comprehensive training center for any community member who would like to learn the following lifesaving skills:
- CPR/AED: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults/children/infants, including how to operate an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- BLS CPR: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers and Professional Rescuers for those individuals needing to renew their certifications
- Basic First Aid: for community members and organization employees wanting to learn how to assist with basic medical emergencies
- Bloodborne Pathogen training: for employee education in how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to avoid exposure, and what to do if exposed
- Fire Extinguisher training: for health care facilities and businesses
2024 Class Schedule
CPR/AED classes are held on the 4th Monday of each month from April-September. Additional classes will be scheduled to meet community needs. Classes can be brought to your location for an additional cost if your proposed location meets some minimum qualifications.

- Students may pay with check or cash at the door, or we can bill your organization as applicable
- Community CPR Initial
- Adult, child, and infant CPR and AED certification
- For new students or those over 2 years from last certification
- $40.00 per student
- Community CPR Refresher
- Adult, child and infant CPR and AED certification renewal
- For those within 2 years from last certification
- $35.00 per student
- Adult First Aid
- Initial care for acute illness or injury
- $40.00 per student
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Initial
- For healthcare providers and professional rescuers
- For new students or those over 2 years from last certification
- $45.00 per student
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Refresher
- For healthcare providers and professional rescuers
- For those within 2 years from last certification
- $40.00 per student
- Bloodborne Pathogen
- For students within 2 years from last certification
- $35.00 per student
- Class held off site (not at SBLGFD)
- $50.00 per class additional fee
