History
The Sister Bay & Liberty Grove Fire Department can trace its roots back as far as 1930 providing service to Northern Door County including the Village of Sister Bay and the Town of Liberty Grove.

Our People
The Sister Bay & Liberty Grove Fire Department is staffed by dedicated volunteers who respond as members of two separate emergency response groups. The Fire and Rescue Group and the EMR Group, with many of our members choosing to be active in both of these groups.
Department News
First Responder Services
The Sister Bay & Liberty Grove Fire Department First Responders (EMR) provide initial care and treatment to the sick and injured in Northern Door County. Our EMR’s are trained to a variety of levels including EMR, EMT and Paramedic. We work in partnership with the Paramedics from Emergency Services of Door County under a cooperative agreement, joint protocols and common medical direction.
