We appreciate your interest in the Sister Bay & Liberty Grove Fire Department and the community we live in and serve.

As a Fire Department we are the second busiest in the County behind the city of Sturgeon Bay (full time) with over 120 Fire and 450 EMR responses per year.

As we provide both Fire and First response EMS to a large geographic area there are many opportunities to get involved and provide much needed assistance in the community.

Our Department has a long history of community involvement and activities that go beyond the traditional Firefighter roles – from a progressive community CPR program to community outreach at the day care and the local nursing homes there are plenty of activities to be involved in.
There are two distinct response groups within the Fire Department – one providing Fire and Rescue service and the other providing First Response EMA or medical care. While many of our members choose to participate in both response groups there is no requirement or expectation of that. As a new member you should evaluate what you feel best suites you, be it one or the other, or possibly both. The Fire Department will support you and provide the necessary training and skills to succeed in these activities.
