We appreciate your interest in the Sister Bay & Liberty Grove Fire Department and the community we live in and serve. As a Fire Department we are the second busiest in the County behind the city of Sturgeon Bay (full time) with over 120 Fire and 450 EMR responses per year.
A Firefighter performs a variety of technical and physical skills when participating in fire suppression, rescue or prevention activities.
A First Responder (EMR) is trained to provide the initial care and treatment of the sick and injured in an emergent situation. The first responder provides this level of care until the arrival of the County Paramedics, then continues to provide care and assistance under the direction of the County EMS service.
